- Zrs.Synth is an online Java program for designing and generating sounds.
After linking together basic building blocks (oscillators, envelopes, adders, &c), the program generates the sound for you to listen to.
It has been used as a teaching tool at the U. of British Columbia, U. of Colorado, and De Montfort U., among others.
- Zerius Vocoder is a channel vocoder, which imposes vocal effects on a waveform.
It can make your voice sound "robot-like", create a singing synthesizer, and many other fun things.
You've probably heard vocoding somewhere before; it has been used extensively by artists like Kraftwerk and Laurie Anderson and in 2Pac and Dr. Dre's "California Love", to name a few.
